Welcome to Time Ashore - a Liverpool folk band
Time Ashore are an exciting folk band based in Liverpool. They offer hauntingly beautiful love songs, sea shanties, spirituals, folk hymns, celtic and old time dance music, often paired up in innovative ways. The band switches between fiddles, mandolin, whistle, recorder, acoustic guitar, vocals and bodhran to offer a vibrant and flexible mix of music.
Time Ashore offer a unique experience with atmospheric visuals which include words of the songs and encourage audience participation. We perform at charity events as well as social evenings and other occasions. To help with this we can provide stunning tickets and posters. The band is (left to right above) Kirsten Sothmann, Penny Thompson, Tom Battersby and Andrew Thompson-Smith.
